SCE Charge Ready Home Program Overview And Form
The SCE Charge Ready Home Program offers up to $4200 OFF the installation cost for a 200 Amp electrical panel upgrade with the addition of a 240V dedicated circuit for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger.
NO DOWN PAYMENT is necessary. We will cover the cost for permits, material, equipment, and labor required for the electrical installation.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
-Your existing panel's Main Breaker MUST be less than 200 Amps
-The rebate does not include the cost of the EV charger itself
-It does not cover stucco repairs, drywall patching, or painting. We can refer you to someone.
Receiving an installation date takes 2 weeks from the date you reach out to us WITH your prequalification ID. The amount of processing time is due to Edison's protocol of issuing a service request number, assigning a planner, and scheduling a technician for a meter spot, city permits and inspections. We will provide you with up to date status reports as the project moves forward.
Most installations require a power outage between 4 to 6 hours.
We will use this form to help determine if your upgrade requires work beyond the typical scope of a panel upgrade.
